CEMIRT aircraft arresting system


tabField Support Division 
The Field Support Division, known as the Civil Engineering Maintenance, Inspection and Repair Team (CEMIRT),  provides operations field support to civil engineers worldwide with intermediate maintenance and overhaul capability of power production, electrical distribution and aircraft arresting systems (AAS), as well as expert support for utility monitoring and controls systems (UMACS) and heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems during peacetime, contingency, and emergency response operations.CEMIRT has the capability to deploy mobile teams to support power requirements of contingency operations and natural disasters world wide.

The division has two regional offices. One located next to HQ AFCESA at Tyndall AFB, Fla. and one geographically separated operating location at Travis AFB, Calif.

The Tyndall team provides power production and electrical support to base civil engineers throughout the Tyndall CEMIRT region, AAS support throughout CONUS, and HVAC, UMACS and emergency response support worldwide.

The CEMIRT Travis team supports their region by providing power production and electrical support to base civil engineers.  They also provide MEP-12 power generator and emergency response support worldwide.
